Funds under management at City wealth manager St James’s Place rose to a record high in the first three months of 2021, as investor sentiment benefited from the UK’s progressing vaccination rollout.

The firm reported £135.4bn in funds under management in the first quarter, up from £101.7bn in the same period a year earlier.
