St James’s Place reports record assets on ‘very strong retention’ of client funds

SJP’s funds under management reached a record £118.7bn at the end of September, up 5% from £112.8bn at the end of the same quarter of 2019

St James’s Place, the UK wealth manager currently being targeted by an activist investor, reported a record level of funds under management during the third quarter, despite a more than 30% drop in net inflows compared to the same period last year.

SJP’s funds under management reached a record £118.7bn at the end of September, up 5% from £112.8bn at the end of the same quarter of 2019.
