Stamford Associates has been rated the best investment consultant in the UK, according to a survey of pension schemes by Greenwich Associates, the financial services consultants.

The firm is rated far higher on an overall basis than any of the large consulting firms, of which Watson Wyatt scored best. By comparison, Hewitt Bacon & Woodrow and Aon made disappointing showings.
