Standard Bank, the London-based bank which focuses on emerging markets, has hired in a new head of origination for Eastern Europe and Russia, following the departure in February of Andrew Abraham.
The bank recruited Alex Medlock from Raiffesen Zentralbank Osterreich (RZB), which is one of Standard Bank's rivals in the European markets. Medlock, who was deputy head of capital markets at RZB, will take up his new role in a couple of weeks' time.
