Standard Chartered compliance boss leaves after ‘inappropriate behaviour’

The group head of compliance at Standard Chartered has agreed to leave the bank after an internal investigation found his “managerial style, behaviour and language towards some of his colleagues was inappropriate”, according to an internal memo.

Neil Barry was first placed on leave by Standard Chartered on March 16.
