Standard Chartered has appointed Alex Manson as group head of wholesale banking geographies. Manson is based in London and will be on the wholesale banking management group. He will attempt to drive revenues and growth across the bank's markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank, holding roles including global head of corporate banking coverage and global lending, and head of global banking coverage in Asia Pacific.
