Standard Life Aberdeen gives men and women nine months parental leave — on full pay

UK asset manager makes a bold move to offer parents of both genders a generous amount of time off to raise children

Standard Life Aberdeen, the £577bn asset manager, has introduced a policy allowing new parents at the company to take nine months leave on full pay.

The Edinburgh-based investment house said the parental-leave policy, which is offered to staff regardless of gender, family set-up or their tenure at the company, “sets a new precedent across businesses in the UK”.
