Standard Life Investments assets rise 5% over six months

Standard Life Investments, the fund management arm of Standard Life, has managed to increase assets under management in the six months to the middle of May by £3.7bn (€5.2bn) to £77.8bn despite declining global equity markets.

However, worldwide sales of investment products have slumped 30.7%, from £1.76bn in the same period last year to £1.22bn.
