UK fund manager Standard Life Investments has registered a new suite of funds in Switzerland, offering investors in that country access to its global absolute return, or GAR, strategy for the first time.

The fund manager announced on Tuesday the Swiss registration of its range of SICAV funds, a type of open-ended collective investment scheme that enables the sale of funds in different regions.
