Standard Life Investments upgrades technology with Charles River

Standard Life Investments, the fund management group, is to install products developed by Charles River Development, the US financial technology firm, as part of an upgrade of its entire investment operations.

The UK-based fund manager, which controls £90bn (€135bn) in assets, is part of Standard Life, currently considering a demutualisation which could also see the investment business floated off as a separate company.
