Renowned trader Greg Coffey has leased offices in Belgravia and picked prime brokers as he prepares to launch his first hedge fund since exiting the industry amid much fanfare in 2012.

The lease provides a clear picture that the Australian trader — once known as the Wizard of Oz in fund management circles for his trading prowess — is close to making a return to hedge fund investing.
