State Bank of India has appointed Mrutyunjay Mahapatra as regional head for the UK, where he will oversee all of the bank's activities. He has experience in large loans, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, new business acquisition, and structured finance. He previously worked at the firm's Chicago office from 1997 to 2002.
