State Street Global Advisors wins £850m GE mandate

State Street Global Advisors, the investment arm of State Street Corporation, has won an £850m (€1.3bn) active equity mandate from GE Life, part of the US-based GE Financial.

The money will be 90% managed on an active basis by SSgA for the GE 'Pensions With Profits' fund. All other assets in the £2bn closed fund are managed by GE Insurance Holdings.
