State Street Global Advisors has appointed Schroders’ former head of institutional business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in a newly-created role to lead its sales push in the region.

Miles O’Connor joined the Boston-headquartered asset manager’s Canary Wharf office as head of institutional business for Emea this week, the company confirmed.
