State Street names Allright head of hedge fund arm

State Street, the custody bank and asset manager, has named a new head for its hedge fund-investment business InfraHedge, which oversees assets worth around $30bn.

Andrew Allright, formerly head of clients, has stepped up to the chief executive role previously held by co-founder Bruce Keith.
