In November 2010, State Street was named as the fund administrator behind Nest, the UK’s first universal pension scheme.

Nest had been looking for a third party to take the custody and fund servicing tasks off of its hands, and wanted an experienced provider that could cope with the demands of its multi-fund and multi-investment manager structure.
