Financier Amanda Staveley has insisted in court that top Barclays executives promised her the same deal as they were offering to Qatari investors — who were later offered better terms.
Staveley's notes on meetings and phone calls from the negotiations in 2008, as well as correspondence between the other parties involved in the deal, came under scrutiny in the high court on the third day of her testimony in her £1.5bn case against the UK blue chip bank.
