Family-owned investment bank Stephens has hired a senior dealmaker to focus on healthcare transactions as the firm continues to build out its European operations.

Lars Friemann is set to join the bank as a senior banker in Frankfurt focused on healthcare deals. He was latterly at Harris Williams & Co and was one of the founding members of its German operations.
