StepStone for Clarke

ormer financier Giles Clarke is seeking a market comeback via online recruitment agency StepStone, just after the cut-price sale of his former company, Pet City, by its 1996 buyer.

Clarke is described as a "distinguished British entrepreneur" by StepStone, which is seeking to raise E139m ($140m) to develop its service outside its Norwegian home base. The adviser to the float is Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.
