StockLoan.com has unveiled a web-enabled industry utility for the global institutional securities lending and equity financing markets. The industry, which has one trillion dollars in worldwide outstanding loans, currently has no global electronic marketplace but there are many contenders.

The past two years has seen the emergence of SecFinex, StockLoanOnline.com and Equilend, all online technology-based securities financing offerings.
