Stocktrade plans to offer voice-activated dealing

Stocktrade, the telephone and internet dealing division of Brewin Dolphin Securities, has launched the UK's first voice-activated, automated stock-quoting service.

And by the end of the year, investors will be able to buy and sell shares without having to speak to a telephone operator, according to Andy Hirst, marketing development director at Stocktrade.
