Barclays' Strax offers corporate bonds

Barclays Capital is rolling out the latest version of Strax, a proprietary internet-based system, which will allow its hedge fund clients to bid and borrow corporate bonds as well as give an additional level of transparency.

Until now, Strax allowed lenders and borrowers of equities, including custodians, beneficial owners and hedge funds, to submit live bids and offers for stock loan and get instant fills.
