Two US private equity firms, Sun Capital Partners and Silver Lake, have announced a swathe of year end promotions.

Sun Capital Partners which specialises in turnaround investments, has promoted five executives to managing director level, two of which, Paul Daccus and Brian Urbanek, work for its European arm.
