SunGard Trading Systems, a division of SunGard, US-based software provider, has launched a single point of access to five electronic communication networks (ECNs).

Powernet, the new order delivery system for securities dealers, will be able to connect securities firms worldwide with Brut, Island, Archipelago, Redibook and Instinet, five of the largest ECNs in the US.
