Investors spot opportunities in Europe, China and India

Institutional investors are tapping European credit and southern Europe-focused funds, as well as secondaries investments in China and India

European private credit, southern Europe-focused private equity funds and secondaries investments in China and India were among the potential opportunities for growth highlighted by high-profile institutional investors at the Superinvestor conference in Paris.

Speaking at a panel session on contrarian investment, Soren Brondum Andersen, a partner at Danish investor ATP, said there were currently some "interesting opportunities" for southern Europe-focused private equity funds, as the number of funds investing in the region has diminished in recent years.
