SVG Advisers, a UK-based investment management company, has hired Rebecca Hartley as investor relations manager.

It is the latest private equity manager to boost its investor relations, following moves by Kravis Kohlberg Roberts and Apax Partners earlier this week. The importance of investor relations has grown dramatically as the funds under management by the private equity industry have increased and the business has matured.
