Gothenburg-based A-P Fonden 2, one of four Swedish national pension funds with approximately Skr125bn (€13.6bn) of assets, has appointed 13 new active international equity managers.
The fund has hired Alliance Bernstein, Bankinvest, Citigroup Asset Management, Crédit Agricole Asset Management, Deutsche Asset Management, Dresdner RCM Global Investors, Franklin Templeton Investment, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Govett Investment, Martin Currie Investment Management, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, Singer & Friedlander Investment Management and UBS Global Asset Management. The 13 will run a raft of sector and regional equity mandates, which will be funded at a later stage.
