Swedish national fund picks three Asian equity managers

A-P Fonden 3, one of Sweden's national pension funds, has hired Capital International, Schroder Investment Management and JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management.

The trio will manage assets totalling nearly Skr3.6bn (€380m). Schroder of the UK and US investment house Capital's mandates are Skr1.3bn each, managing active Japanese equities. JP Morgan is the sole manager for an active Asia Pacific mandate of Skr975m. All mandates will be managed locally.
