A-P Fonden 7, one of Sweden's national pension funds, has appointed Goldman Sachs Asset Mangement to run an active €100m ($88.8m) European equity brief.

The Skr15bn (€1.6bn) fund was advised by William M Mercer, its investment management consultant, which has been part of the process of hiring external managers since the fund appointed it last July.
