Thomas Murray, an investment and securities information, ratings and research vendor, has hired James Economides as director responsible for developing its Investor Services business.

The newly-created position will incorporate the firm's institutional management consultancy business, and Economides will also oversee the build and launch of a new e-commerce transaction engine CustodianSelect.
