Swip cuts stake in LSE

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, the second-biggest shareholder of the London Stock Exchange, has cut its stake by almost a third.

Two weeks ago the fund manager said Nasdaq's £2.4bn (€3.5bn) bid approach represented "closer to fair value" for the LSE.
