Swip completes equities rebuild

UK fund manager hires former Insight head of responsible investment in newly created sustainability role

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has said it has completed the rebuild of its equities division – having lost several high profile fund managers to a rival earlier this year – with the creation of a new governance, communications and sustainability team.

The UK fund manager has hired Craig MacKenzie, a former head of responsible investment at Insight Investment, to lead the three-strong team. He has joined Swip in the new role of head of sustainability.
