Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) has made a hire to its research department following two senior departures from the division.

Peter Glynne-Percy has been appointed to head research analysis, reporting directly to Graham Wood, the firm's chief investment officer of equities. He will be responsible for running and developing Research Portal, the system that supports Swip's research-based process.
