Swiss asset manager GAM has announced plans to move to a new London base in the City, bringing its roughly 400 staff in the capital under one roof.

The move follows similar strides by neighbours Man Group, which is to quit its One Curzon Street address by the end of 2018, and Rathbone Investment Management, which shifted from the property in 2016. Hedge funds CQS and Systematica relocated from Mayfair more than two years ago.
