Switzerland tops second lifestyle power league in a week

Changes in currency markets and inflation rates has led to a shake-up in UBS's list of global purchasing power

When it comes to getting more bang for your buck, Switzerland retains its crown as the place to be, according to the second piece of research in a week which shows that residents of the Alpine nation enjoy the best quality of life in the world, based on several measures.

The latest research from (Switzerland-based) UBS, which offsets cost of living with wage levels to determine purchasing power, puts Zurich in the number one spot in the league table for the second year in a row, while Geneva remains in the top 10.
