The chief executive of the Six Swiss Exchange has been named as the new president of exchange lobby the Federation of European Securities Exchanges.

Christian Katz, a former Goldman Sachs banker who has been chief executive of the Swiss bourse since 2009, was today voted into the role at the organisation's general assembly.
