Plans for a Davos-style conference for the international asset management community are gathering pace, with trade bodies backed by Switzerland’s most powerful financial institutions hoping to have the first event organised by next year.

The trade associations involved are the Swiss Bankers Association, Swiss Funds & Asset Management Association, Swiss Insurers Association, Swiss Pension Funds Association and the Conference of Managers of Investment Foundations. Their current thinking will soon be set out on a dedicated website.
