Sword Group, a French internet engineering firm, has raised €11.9m ($10.5m) in the first initial public offering on the Nouveau Marché, the French growth market, since June 2001.
A Nouveau Marché spokesman said: "It's definitely the first one of the year, the first in eight months. It is a very good thing."
