T Rowe Price, the Baltimore-based fund management firm, has appointed Brian Rogers as its new chief investment officer (CIO) to take over from David Testa, who will be retiring from the company next year.

Rogers, who has worked at T Rowe Price for 22 years will assume the CIO role at the beginning of next year, while Testa will stay on at the firm to ease the transition until his retirement in April.
