Kevin Landry, the former chairman of TA Associates, has died, the Boston firm said Thursday.

"Kevin approached every opportunity and every challenge with passion and vigor, and held himself and TA to the highest standards. We will deeply miss his wisdom, his wit and his friendship," the firm said in a prepared statement.
