TA Associates, the US private equity firm, is planning more deals in Europe after clinching its fifth investment this side of the Atlantic in 15 months.

TA, which manages $5bn (€4.2bn) of capital, has just paid €35m ($42m) for a minority stake in Dublin-based ION Trading Group, which makes software for bond traders.
