Taubman’s PJT tops independent rivals by doubling 2019 profits

Advisory firm run by Wall Street dealmaker Paul Taubman almost doubled pre-tax profits last year

PJT Partners, the advisory firm run by Wall Street dealmaker Paul Taubman, generated record fees in 2019 — a year in which many of its independent rivals struggled to match earnings from the year before.

PJT said in a statement on 6 February that group revenues rose by 24% last year, to $717.6m, helping to almost double pre-tax profits to $82.2m.
