Vincent and Robert Tchenguiz, the high-profile property investors, are among nine people to have been arrested this morning in connection with the collapse of Icelandic bank group Kaupthing.

The pair were among the first wave of arrests concerning the downfall of Kaupthing in October 2008. The arrests were carried out by the Serious Fraud Office in a joint operation with City of London and Essex Police.
