Buyout firms including Blackstone Group and Permira have taken their latest steps to prepare for one of the most eagerly anticipated listings of the new year.

The private equity consortium behind Danish telecommunications company TDC has restructured the group in an effort to tidy up the business ahead of a possible listing next year.
