WestLB Panmure has reaped immediate benefits from hiring William Tebbit, a new director in corporate finance.

Lord Tebbit's son has revived his relationship with Philip Green, enabling his bank to become sole financial adviser to the financier on the £200m (E332m) acquisition of British Home Stores (Bhs) from Storehouse.
