Technology investment vehicle hires MacRitchie and Jawa

nCoTec ventures, the technology investment vehicle launched in May this year by Tim Horlick, Alasdair Warren and Lars Lindell, all formerly of Salomon Smith Barney has made two heavyweight appointments.

George MacRitchie is joining as head of investments from NatWest Equity Partners, where he ran its Scottish operation. At nCoTec, MacRitchie will oversee the principal investments made on a pan-European basis. nCoTec's strategy revolves around communication technologies, employing a partnership model with some of the leading providers of professional services to high growth, start-up companies.
