Telecom companies to cap funding costs

Telecommunications companies raising money in the international bond market will not have to offer investors as much of a sweetener as previously thought, thanks to a dilution of the trend towards credit-sensitive coupon payments.

British Telecommunications, which is expected to have its ratings clarified by Moody's on Wednesday morning, will be one the beneficiaries.
