Telecom Italia eyes disposals to reduce debt

Telecom Italia has disclosed plans to reduce its debt by approximately €3bn ($2.7bn) through the disposal of non-core holdings in several other companies in a move that should create much-needed fee income for potential advisers.

The Italian telecoms company will sell a 30% stake in Telekom Austria, 11% in Bouygues, 23% of Auna and almost 50% of Aria.
