The City’s biggest companies have redoubled efforts to protect staff and fortify their buildings in the wake of this month's London terror attack, which claimed the lives of eight people.

Workers have been warned to expect more security checks, drills and barricades as companies respond to the killings that took place just south of the Square Mile on the night of June 3.
