Best-selling UK fund manager Terry Smith took home £36m during the 12 months to the end of March 2022, the latest in a string of multimillion-pound payouts for the star stock-picker, which have amounted to around £130m over the past five years.

Profit at Fundsmith, the fund management business set up by Smith in 2010, was £58.2m for the period — up marginally from £57.7m recorded for the previous year.
